Your story The heal & grow branch Myth & clay workshop “Drawing is taking a line for a walk.” Paul Klee “Philosophy is taking a question for a walk.” The Cotton Tree In this workshop, we ask questions and take them for a walk. We share thoughts and feelings as we draw, doodle, mould lumps of clay. We think about human beings and their origins and what makes them special. According to ancient myths, we were created from earth, brought to life by air, made god-like by the gift of fire. In this workshop we create a space for what the ancient philosophers called wisdom and consolation. How can we understand our strength and our fragility through myth and clay? What makes us human?
