Cotton Tree participated in the London Legal Walk!

On a delightful Tuesday, June 13th, The Cotton Tree embarked on a remarkable journey, participating in the 19th annual London Legal Walk for the very first time. With unwavering determination, we took strides together, walking an impressive 10 kilometers across Central London, all in the pursuit of raising crucial funds for access to justice. Shoulder to shoulder, we joined forces with over 16,000 walkers with a spirit of solidarity.

Our Cotton Tree team walked the vibrant paths of Hyde Park and St. James Park, and along the Thames River. Though the route posed its challenges, we managed to complete the 10K route. Finally, we crossed the finish line together. The street party and refreshing delights awaited our arrival, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The experience of walking side by side with individuals and organizations who share our dedication to promoting equal access to legal services and justice was undeniably inspiring.

We extend our sincerest thanks to our members, staff, volunteers, and supporters who joined us on this journey or contributed generously to our fundraising efforts. It is through your unwavering support that we were able to raise vital funds for free specialist legal services across London and the Southeast.

Another piece of good news: our donation page remains active! No matter the size, every donation carries the power to transform lives of the most vulnerable in our communities. Please visit our fundraising page to support our work by clicking here.
